Art Farm Birchs Bay

A Hadley's Art Prize event.

Join award-winning author Lucy Christopher to discover the ways in which writing the wild and using setting can be important and inspiring for fiction. In a fun and interactive session of writing exercises and exploration, Lucy will guide you through the methods she uses to research and develop her novels. Through walking, writing and exploring the natural places around Art Farm, Lucy will urge participants to find their own wild places and use them as starting points for fiction.
Bring a notebook and pen, protection for the weather, and a willingness to explore, have fun, and perhaps even get a little muddy!
We will be walking a short distance on slightly uneven ground and participants will be encouraged to sit on the earth and touch parts of the nature around them!
Includes light refreshments.
Suitable for: Adult writers and older primary aged children upwards (with their responsible adults)
