Support Us
Art Farm Birchs Bay is a not-for-profit association that fosters engagement between community, art and the landscape in landscape in southern Tasmania (Lutruwita). Every contribution, big or small, helps us celebrate art in nature for all to enjoy.
Become a Friend of Art Farm
Art Farm's Sculpture Prize is supported by our generous community sponsors which we refer to as our friends. Our community-based approach to prize funding more authentically reflects the values of Art Farm, broadens our base and gives more people a chance to be part of the project.
Want to get involved too? Join our community and support the arts through an annual donation commitment to Art Farm. All donations go towards supporting our programs and include heaps of benefits! Donations run on a calendar year from January - December.

our dream for 2026
Accessible Trail
Next year marks the 20th anniversary of our beloved Sculpture Trail – a place where art, nature, and community come together.
To celebrate this milestone, we want to create something truly special:
An accessible extension of the existing trail, designed so that everyone can enjoy the beauty, creativity, and peace this space offers – regardless of mobility.
But we can't do it without your help.
🧡 Your donation will:
-
Fund accessible pathways
-
Support inclusive signage and seating
-
Ensure wheelchair and family-friendly access
-
Commission new gates and tactile sculptures
-
Create sensory experiences
Our aim
Our goal is to reach $20,000 to make our sculpture trail more inclusive to celebrate art in nature for all to enjoy.

How you can help
What your contributions would go towards:
-
$50 an established scented plant
-
$100 2m of fencing around the dam
-
$250 1m of hardwood decking
-
$500 towards commissioning new gates by local artists
-
$5,000 commission an artist to create a new tactile sculpture that can be safely touched and explored
With some hardwood decking, this old tram chassis will become a unique part of the trail

We'd like to commission an artist to create a creative gate for the entrance of the trail
You know we can't resist a great gate! Here are some of the others in our collection:
